NO NEW SNOW FOR 9 DAYS
MID MOUNTAIN BASE DEPTH AT LOBO 22.3"
Good morning skiers and snowboarders, this is Mario with your SnoFax report for Friday, December 6th, 2024. Another weekend has come upon us, and with it hopefully more snow. So far, our early season skiing has been spectacular, with the groomers, and the Bowl, and Africa offering the best, most consistent turns thus far.
WIND AND TEMPS: Today's temperatures are going to be similar to yesteday, ranging from 27°F to 41°F with mid mountain temps in the 30's, and winds are expected out of the West for most of the day, until shifting later to Southwest and picking up. We should see gusts to 30mph at the summit today, and hopefully some storm skiing tomorrow and Sunday.
Get out and enjoy the mellow mood days before the Christmas chaos is upon us. These warm days where the sun isn't too strong make for awesome skiing from bell to bell. Not much to update on in terms of skiing, what are you seeing out there that's worth taking note? Did you even bother with the rock skis this year, or did you go straight to the good ones?
DISCREPANCIES: Going to have to make a video addressing these discrepancies, 3 phantom inches in a week adds up to a foot in a month...
As always, remember to stay safe, and have fun out there.
