6-8" OF POWDER IN LAST 24 HOURS AT MID MOUNTAIN
MID MOUNTIAN BASE DEPTH 50"
A few inches yesterday, and then a few more inches overnight and we are looking at another absolute blower pow day once again people. I know you might be sick of soft turns and face shots, but duty calls, it's Monday, get back at it! Temps have been in the teens, winds havent even hit 20mph overnight, this snow has fallen straight down and is going to just get deeper and deeper the higher you go. Expect ski patrol to be busy, but as long as the wind doesnt' pick up and they don't run into any problems, they should be able to get our South Face and other Upper Mountain terrain opened up for some steep and deep turns.
WIND AND TEMPS: We've got perfect skiing weather on our hands, with a chance for some sun poking through the clouds this afternoon. Temps are gonna range between 7°F at the summit, and 25°F at the base with mid mountian temps in the teens, and winds are expected to shift from West to North, only gusting to about 15-20mph at the summit.
Big news today! The SnoFax Big Sky Snow Phone is going on line this morning. Please share this number with your friends! 406-518-7575. This was not easy to set up, nor is it cheap! I hope that it is appreciated and that we can grow our movement of a snow report by the people for the people! You have the option of leaving me a message after you hear the snow report! (not exactly sure how to turn that off) so feel free to leave a snow report of your own, comments, critiques and advice! Thank you all so much!
As always, remember to stay safe, and have fun out there
