24 HOUR SNOW 3-5"
3-5" of heavy, sticky snow has fallen across the resort in the last 24 hours. Falling in huge flakes, with barely any wind, this snow has fallen quite evenly with little wind drifting. This high density snow is exaclty what we need to heal our skiing. Yesterday, the entire upper mountain was closed due to icy conditions, so expect Patrol to be extra careful today making sure that this new snow is bonding well. More snow expected to just continue dumping, we're in for an epic start to April!
WIND AND TEMPS: Today's temps are expected to range between 14°F at the summit, and 34°F at the base, with mid mountain temps in the 20's and winds are expected to remain light, out of the South, gusting to 15mph. All under snowy skies.
Overnight, temps have dropped about 10°F and with that the snow that is still falling is getting lighter and lighter. Hopefully today snow is more consistent from top to bottom, but be careful of crust underneath the higher you go. Down low near the base, expect things to get a bit sticky. Get out today for some awesome storm skiing with free refills!
As always, remember to stay safe, and have fun out there.
